It's Time! Enter My Fourth Annual Oscars Picks Pool!
Enter for your chance for a cash prize, the more entries the more money
Hey movie lovers!
It’s Oscars week. Get hyped.
For the fourth consecutive year, I’ll be hosting an Oscars picks pool that is free to enter with a winner-take-all cash prize pool of $2 per total number of entries. It would be advantageous for you to get as many people as you can to sign up, to grow the total pot, so spread the word far and wide.
But that’s not all folks! This year’s winner will also receive a free copy of my Cinephile Bucket List … unless you already bought one and don’t want a second.
If you wish to participate, the link below will take you to a Google Survey where you can enter your predictions for each of the 23 categories. And at the bottom of this email, you’ll see a list of the Best Picture nominees and where they’re currently streaming.
The Oscars are on Sunday, March 10 at 7 pm EST/4 pm PST (one hour earlier this year!), so you’ve got a little time to catch up on the movies you may have missed, or more likely, do some internet research to figure out who the oddsmakers like in those categories where you’re totally lost (no shame, it’s exactly what I’ll be doing for animated shorts etc.).
On Friday, March 8, I’ll publish my official ballot in that morning’s edition of No Content For Old Men (and if you’re interested, last Friday I named my own alternative awards).
Last year I finished tied for third place…but this year I’m coming for the gold.
Good luck, and happy Oscars!
