Hey newsletter family,
No movie reviews this week. I’m very sorry about that. I’ve been very sick this week, not with Covid, not with strep throat (as I thought), but nonetheless my throat decided to swell up so bad I haven’t been able to eat, sleep or even speak these past few nights. I’m surprised I’m even composing complete sentences right now.
It’s a bummer too, because I’ve been pumped to talk about Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth for several weeks now, and finally saw it this week. Also had on tap Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Lost Daughter. I guess we’ll have to have another mega edition next week.
The newsletter numbers have ticked up significantly as of late, which gets me even more excited for 2022. Let’s make this the best year of the newsletter yet.
